Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to have their say on the current situation regarding reported target and Motherwell midfielder David Turnbull.

Turnbull is one of the best and most promising young players in the Scottish Premiership and had a good season on a personal level for Motherwell this season.

According to BBC Sport, the 19-year-old midfielder Turnbull scored 15 goals and provided five assists in the Scottish Premiership for Motherwell this season.

Celtic are interested in signing Turnbull from Scottish Premiership rivals Motherwell in the summer transfer window, according to BBC Sport.

It has been reported that Motherwell have turned down bids from the Hoops and Barnsley in England for the youngster.

The report has claimed that Motherwell want as much as £3 million as transfer fee for the Scotland Under-21 international midfielder.

The Scottish Sun has claimed that Celtic do not have any interest in getting involved in a bidding war and are now considering other options.
