Scott Sinclair continues to leave the Celtic fans feeling underwhelmed following the Hoops’ latest Scottish Premiership win.

Celtic fans took to Twitter after the Hoops’ hard-fought 2-1 victory over Hamilton on Sunday to comment on Scott Sinclair’s performance ahead of next weekend’s Scottish Cup semi-final, and it appears that the majority of the fans were not impressed by the Englishman.
Brendan Rodgers’ men moved themselves 13 points clear at the top of the Scottish Premiership ahead of the final five games of the campaign as goals from Callum McGregor and Leigh Griffiths saw them see off struggling Accies.

It was not a particularly impressive performance from Celtic by any means, but it did not need to be. And in all honesty, it may not be a surprise if Rodgers was not looking for a stunning display with the semi-final on the horizon. Getting through the game unscathed was surely the main priority.
Nevertheless, Sinclair’s display in the victory left a number of fans feeling underwhelmed. It was the 29-year-old who set up Celtic’s winner with a brilliant cross towards the six-yard box which found Griffiths less than a minute into the second-half.

The forward has scored 17 goals this term, but it has generally been accepted amongst a large portion of the fans that he is not the same player who was sensational last season and looked set to make an impact every time he stepped onto the pitch.
And now, several fans have asked Rodgers to drop the former Aston Villa man for next weekend, and it appears that some would not mind if he was sold at the end of the season as they are not sure that he will recapture last season’s form again.
Here is the best of the reaction to Sinclair’s display…
