Celtic defender Dedryck Boyata looks likely to like Parkhead, so some Bhoys fans want John Terry to come in.

Aston Villa's new signing John Terry and manager Steve Bruce during the press conference at Villa Park on July 3, 2017 in Birmingham, England.

Celtic fans have called for John Terry to be brought in at Parkhead, amid uncertainty over Dedryck Boyata’s future.

Boyata’s agent has publicly criticised Celtic in recent weeks, with the Belgian defender unavailable for selection currently.

There are fears that Boyata may now have played his last game for Celtic, leaving Rodgers’ defensive options looking very short.

And Bhoys fans have called for Terry to be brought in as a replacement for Boyata.

Terry is a free agent still, following the expiration of his contract at Aston Villa at the end of last campaign.

Terry was one of the stand out performers in the Championship last term, but he is yet to accept any offer that has come his way.

A move to Celtic could now appeal, although his wages could prove difficult for Brendan Rodgers’ side to match.

Terry was on a big contract at Villa, and would surely become Celtic’s highest earner if he was to move to Parkhead.
