Celtic fans have urged Brendan Rodgers to start Odsonne Edouard against Glasgow Rangers at the weekend.

Celtic are due to take on Rangers at Ibrox on Sunday, in what looks set to be a fiercely contested Old-Firm derby.

And Bhoys fans are now hoping that Rodgers gives Edouard the nod to start.

Edouard has made just nine starts in the league for Celtic all season, so it would be a significant show of trust for Rodgers to pick the PSG loanee in such an important match against Rangers.

Celtic currently have a healthy advantage over Graeme Murty’s side, but a defeat would put them under pressure.

Celtic are six points clear at the top of the league as things stand, but if Rangers could reduce the gap to three, then Rodgers’ side would have to be looking nervously over their shoulders.

Edouard has scored seven goals in his 22 appearances for Celtic so far.
