Brendan Rodgers was relieved as on the touchline as Celtic got back to winning ways with a comfortable 2-0 win over Partick Thistle on home soil – but fans have ridiculed defender Dedryck Boyata on Twitter.

Stuart Armstrong put Celtic ahead in the 35th minute with an exquisite drive from the corner of the penalty area that flew into the top corner past Partick goalkeeper Tomas Cerny.

One fan even stated that the former Manchester City ace is “giving me nightmares”.
