Celtic boss Neil Lennon is already under mounting pressure at Parkhead.
Celtic fans have been left baffled by Neil Lennon’s comments to BBC Sport Scotland.
Lennon has faced criticism from Celtic supporters already this season, with concerns about performances rising.
The Bhoys were dumped out of the Champions League just over a week ago, and then they struggled past Dunfermline in the cup.
With Lennon already having to win over some doubters at Parkhead, it was not a good week for his popularity at Celtic.
But Lennon has called for calm, he said: “We’ve lost one game and we scored three goals in it. There has to be a sense of perspective.”
The comments have not gone down well with an already aggravated Celtic fan base though.
Many Celtic followers think that Lennon is not correct to dismiss some very legitimate concerns about their displays.
Celtic are due to take on AIK later this evening, and if they fail to win tonight, then the atmosphere at Parkhead really does threaten to take another turn for the worse.
