Celtic reached the next round of the Scottish Cup, but it may not be a performance that Brendan Rodgers remembers particularly fondly.

Celtic fans have taken to Twitter to slam Scott Sinclair after his performance in the Hoops’ Scottish Cup win over Partick Thistle on Saturday, with many feeling that the forward is not the same player who lit up Parkhead last season.
Sinclair was simply sensational during his first campaign with the Bhoys. Signed for £3 million, according to the Guardian, the forward scored 25 goals in 50 appearances in all competitions, playing a crucial role in their treble-winning season and winning a raft of individual awards in the Scottish Premiership.

The 28-year-old has scored 17 times this term to top the club’s scoring charts. Nevertheless, his form has been called into question – especially after the Bhoys stumbled into the next round of the cup against their top flight rivals.
James Forrest bagged a hat-trick, but Partick certainly gave the Hoops a fright, scoring six minutes from time to make the score 3-2 to Rodgers’ men.

A number of the Celtic players were criticised on social media after the game, and Sinclair was one of the players whose performance was slated by the fans.
Many of the supporters feel that Sinclair has let his standards drop, and almost looks disinterested compared to last season. Some even suggested that the Englishman was Celtic’s biggest disappointment this term.
Here is what the Celtic fans made of Sinclair’s display in the cup win…
