Celtic midfielder Olivier Ntcham proved his quality by netting the winner in Sunday’s Old Firm derby.

Ntcham was linked with a summer move to Porto, with The Sun linking him with a £14 million exit.

Celtic were successful in holding onto him and they are now plotting a new contract offer to keep him happy at the club.

It was no surprise that a club was showing interest in Ntcham and his performance at the weekend showed why.

Aside from the goal, Ntcham was dominant in midfield, passing the ball with confidence and control amid Scottish football’s most frenetic game of the year.
