Celtic will be looking to cling onto their narrow advantage as they travel to Russia to take on Zenit St.Petersburg on Thursday night in the second leg of their Europa League Round of 32 tie – and fans want Tom Rogic to start.

Brendan Rodgers’ side take a slender lead to eastern Europe after beating Roberto Mancini’s men 1-0 at Paradise last week thanks to an excellent finish by Callum McGregor, following an inch-perfect assist from Charly Musonda.

However, the former Liverpool and Swansea City manager made eight changes to the side to face St. Johnstone on Sunday, which slightly backfired as the Hoops failed to beat Tommy Wright’s men – ending in a 0-0 draw.

Now, Rodgers has a decision to make after one of those changes, 25-year-old Tom Rogic, finally returned to make his first appearance since December 5 in the Champions League against Anderlecht.

Fans are desperate to see the 31-time Australia international start against Zenit following his return to fitness following a long injury lay-off, with one fan stating he “needs games”.

It remains to be seen if he will start over the likes of Musonda or McGregor.
