Stoke City winger and Celtic fan James McClean has trolled Steven Gerrard’s Ibrox club Glasgow Rangers on Instagram.
McClean has said that there is a title race in the Scottish Premiership, but it is between Celtic and Kilmarnock, not between the Hoops and Rangers.
The 29-year-old Republic of Ireland international winger made the post on Instagram following the rounds of matches in the Scottish Premiership on Wednesday evening.
While Celtic won 4-0 against St. Mirren at Celtic Park, Rangers suffered a 2-1 defeat to Kilmarnock away from home.
The results mean that Rangers are now third in the Scottish Premiership table with 42 points from 22 matches, three points behind leaders Celtic, who have played 21 games.
Meanwhile, Kilmarnock find themselves second in the standings with 44 points from 22 games.
Posting a snap of the Scottish Premiership table on his Instagram story, McClean wrote: “Looks like a title race in scotland.. fancy Celtic to see of Killie tho.”

Back in December 2017, McClean told Celtic’s official website that he is a Celtic fan.
The winger joined Stoke from Championship rivals West Bromwich Albion in the summer of 2018 for an initial transfer fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £5 million.
