Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic won against Graeme Murty’s Glasgow Rangers in the Old Firm derby.

Lustig made the jibe following Celtic’s convincing 4-0 victory over Old Firm rivals Rangers at Hampden Park in the semi-finals of the Scottish Cup this past Sunday afternoon.
Back in March when the draw was made, the Rangers players cheered, manager Graeme Murty was quoted as saying by The Daily Record.
Celtic and Sweden international right-back Lustig has said that the Rangers players cheered because they knew that they were going to lose and earn some extra holidays.

The 31-year-old defender told The Scottish Sun about the Rangers’ players cheers: “I didn’t really react, to be fair.
“But they probably knew they were going to get some extra days off and get an extra holiday — that’s probably why they were cheering!”

Brutal
Lustig’s comments are brutal and will go down well with Celtic fans, who must be overjoyed at the prospect of Brendan Rodgers’s side winning the treble yet again this season.
As for Rangers, the Ibrox club now need to focus on ending up second in the Scottish Premiership table this season.
