Tottenham Hotspur have been heavily linked with Celtic defender Kieran Tierney in recent times.

However, despite enjoying hearing his name touted in the media, Tierney insists that he has no desire to leave Celtic for a long time yet.
“It’s good,” Tierney said. “There are no negatives about it. It’s a compliment if there are big teams watching you.

“It’s not something that I need to block out. I’m flattered by the names you hear, but I’m loving it at Celtic and enjoying every minute.”
Tierney has recently signed a new long-term deal at Celtic, and is sure to command a huge fee if he was to move on.
Tottenham have shown an eye for young talent in recent times, but whether Tierney will remain on their radar remains to be seen.

Tierney has been hugely impressive in a Celtic shirt, and coped with every challenge thrown at him so far.
The 20-year-old is still developing as a player, but he is already a key player for both club and country.
If Tierney was to move to Spurs he would be in competition with the likes of Danny Rose and Ben Davies for a first-team place.
