Scottish Premiership giants Celtic are reportedly facing a battle with La Liga outfit Celta Vigo for Toulouse’s Ligue 1 defender Chrstopher Jullien.

Celtic are apparently going head-to-head with their near-namesake for the signature of Toulouse defender Christopher Jullien.
L’Equipe broke the news on Wednesday that the 6ft 5ins man mountain could be on his way to Parkhead to potentially replace Dedryck Boyata at the reigning Scottish Premiership champions.
Jullien has apparently already made a visit to Glasgow and, with Toulouse demanding a fee in the region of £9 million, he could soon threaten Odsonne Edouard’s status as the club’s record signing.
But Celtic are not the only interested party. According to Marca, Celta Vigo are hoping to lure the former Auxerre and Freiburg defender to the Balaidos.
Jullien, for what its worth, is keen to try his hand in Spanish football after sampling the game in France and Germany. But there is one big problem facing Celta – the money.

Marca claims that the 2017 Europa League semi-finalists, who only narrowly avoided relegation from La Liga last season, are unable to meet Toulouse’s demands and are therefore hoping to haggle for a reduced fee.
So Celtic have one hell of a chance. With plenty of funds left from Moussa Dembele’s move to Lyon last summer, The Hoops can blow Celta Vigo out of the water if they want.
