Celtic’s conquerors Cluj are out of the Champions League.

It was just a couple of week ago that Celtic were stunned by Romanian side Cluj.
Dan Petrescu’s side took advantage of a disastrous defensive display by Celtic to score four on the night and go through 5-4 on aggregate.
For Cluj, that was as good as it got.
They are now out of the Champions League themselves, after a timid defeat in the final qualifying round.
Last night Cluj entered the second leg of their tie 1-0 down from the home fixture.
They needed another away day miracle to see off Slavia Prague.
The Czech side were not so generous defensively as Celtic were.

Prague won the second leg 1-0 thanks to a goal from Jan Boril.
Cluj now drop down into the Europa League group stages. Their win over Celtic was all for nothing.
Celtic play AIK tonight, hoping to build on their lead from the first leg.
Depending on how the draw shakes out, another date with Cluj could yet be on the horizon.
