Celtic and West Bromwich Albion have both been linked with Carl Jenkinson.

Celtic have today confirmed that Nick Hammond has been brought in to help the club’s summer transfer business following Lee Congerton’s exit.
Recruitment chief Congerton has left Celtic to follow Brendan Rodgers to Leicester City, and having been looking for a replacement, Hammond has arrived.
Hammond will presumably take on a similar role, and whilst it’s currently only a temporary move, Celtic will have high hopes that he can make some strong additions this summer.
West Bromwich Albion fans may not have great things to say about their former Technical Director after a shaky spell at The Hawthorns, and Hammond could challenge the Baggies immediately.
Sky Sports claim that West Brom have opened talks to sign Arsenal defender Carl Jenkinson, but Celtic are also in the mix as Neil Lennon wants him at Parkhead.
With Lennon keen, Hammond’s job will now be to try and finalise a deal, and that means going head-to-head with former club West Brom in what should be a close battle.

Whilst Celtic can offer a title challenge and Champions League football, West Brom can give him a stay in England and a reunion with his former West Ham boss Slaven Bilic.
Celtic desperately need two right backs this summer, and 27-year-old Jenkinson fits the bill perfectly, meaning Hammond can’t wait around and risk losing out to the Baggies, a year after he left the Championship club.
