The Hoops were humbled by the Romanian champions at Parkhead in the Champions League qualifiers but they will lock horns again in the Europa League.

Celtic ace Christopher Jullien has discussed the Hoops’ upcoming fixture against CFR Cluj in the Europa League, including how he and his fellow Bhoys reacted to the draw, as quoted by the Daily Record.
Neil Lennon’s charges were knocked out of the Champions League by the Romanian champions following a horror show at Celtic Park in the second leg of their third qualifying round tie.
Celtic shopped four goals to Cluj at Parkhead to lose 4-3 on the night and exit the competition 5-4 on aggregate, Neil Lennon stating after the game that his side “threw it away” due to conceding “crazy” goals (BBC Sport).
Jullien, who joined Celtic from Toulouse in the summer transfer window for a fee reported by BBC Sport to be worth £7million, was forced to watch from the sidelines as the Hoops crashed out of the Champions League.

However, fate has brought the two teams together in the Europa League after the Romanian side fell at the next Champions League round against Slavia Prague and the two sides were then drawn in the same group.
“It was hard. They celebrated and enjoyed their victory in our house and we were mad after that,” Jullien is quoted by the Daily Record as saying. “For sure it’s going to be a revenge game.
“After the draw was made, we were pretty confident because we know the quality we have. We laughed a little bit and said, ‘We’re going to see them again!’ They showed they are a good team by beating Lazio. We are going to be ready and focused on winning.”
