Former Celtic striker Chris Sutton has taken to Twitter to admit that Rangers were the better side against Celtic – but the Bhoys missed Giorgos Giakoumakis.

Having gone through extra time against Braga on Thursday night, Rangers did incredibly well to battle on for that long again.
This will feel like a real missed opportunity for Celtic, who just couldn’t get their usual game going at Hampden.
That means Rangers will now meet Hearts in the Scottish Cup final, giving Giovanni van Bronckhorst a great opportunity at a trophy.
Celtic’s hopes of a treble have now disappeared, with fans no doubt disappointed with today’s performance against their rivals.
Pundit Sutton covered the game for Premier Sports today and was vocal throughout about poor refereeing from Bobby Madden.
Yet on Twitter, Sutton was very honest as he admitted that Rangers were simply the better side on the day.
Sutton believes that Celtic really missed injured striker Giorgos Giakoumakis as his physicality would have been ideal for this game.
The Greek hitman wasn’t fit enough to even make the bench as a hamstring injury ruled him out of action.
Sutton believes Celtic now need one big push to win the league title, hoping that the defeat to Rangers doesn’t overshadow Ange Postecoglou’s great work.
