Rangers are trying to sign Jamie Walker.
New Rangers manager Pedro Caixinha
Pedro Caixinha is battling to try and bring Jamie Walker to Glasgow Rangers, although have seen a bid rejected by Hearts according to SkySports.
If Rangers are successful in landing the winger eventually, expect next season’s Old Firm games to have a little extra spice – even more than usual.
Celtic captain Scott Brown hit out at Walker last season, labelling him with the worst insult in football – a cheat.

Brown accused Walker of diving to win a penalty, telling BBC Sport after the game: “It was a dive. Cheat.
“What else can you say? There is no place in football for cheats and that’s been a couple of times here now.”
Walker defended himself, insisting he was touched and the spot kick was won genuinely: “I knocked the ball on and I’ve seen him [Tierney] coming out the corner of my eye and felt contact so I went down. At the end of the day, I am not the referee. I don’t give the decisions.”
Unfortunately for Walker, the Scottish Football Association sided with Scott Brown.

Walker was handed a two-game ban for the incident, with Hearts stating they were ‘deeply disappointed’ with the decision, BBC Sport reported.
The incident left a stain on Walker’s reputation, although he didn’t let it ruin his season, going onto score an impressive 15 goals.
When he plays Celtic this season he will be determined to get one over on Brown and co.
Rangers will hope it is with them, rather than Hearts.
