Jozo Simunovic is being linked with a £4 million move away from Celtic, despite his resurgent form.
One of the most striking aspects of Neil Lennon’s second spell in charge of Celtic has been the resurgence of Jozo Simunovic.
The towering Croatian centre-back has been exceptional since Lennon returned to Parkhead in February, having struggled for regular football under Brendan Rodgers in recent years.
Simunovic looks to have finally got his groove back and, if rumours are believed, Celtic may sell him.
According to The Scottish Sun, Alaves are interested in signing the 24-year-old – and for only £4 million – but the Hoops must absolutely keep hold of him.
It remains to be seen whether Lennon stays on as manager into next season, but if Simunovic can replicate his current form for the whole 2019-20 campaign then he’s going to be a hell of a lot more valuable to the Bhoys than a meagre £4 million.

Simunovic is contracted to Parkhead until 2021 and, if anything, Peter Lawwell should extend his contract, not sell him.
