A number of Celtic players, including Tom Rogic, Scott Sinclair and Kieran Tierney have reportedly been attracting interest from other clubs.

With huge success, comes the battle to keep hold of your top talents, and that’s exactly what Celtic are finding out this summer after their recent domination in Scotland.

The Treble treble winners have already lost players such as Mikael Lustig, Dedryck Boyata and Filip Benkovic through their contracts expiring or their loan deals ending.

Added with that, highly-rated defender Kieran Tierney is attracting interest from Premier League clubs [The Scottish Sun], so is winger Scott Sinclair [Scottish Sun].

Now, Herald Scotland are reporting that Russian side Zenit St Petersburg are set to launch a £9 million bid for the midfielder, Tom Rogic – Celtic simply can’t allow his sale to happen.

A number of key players have already departed Celtic, and more can follow, and the Scottish Premiership champions simply can’t allow such a mass exodus to occur at the club because it will be harmful to them.

Some sales can be dealt with, but Neil Lennon can’t afford to lose too many star players as he aims to win nine Scottish Premiership titles in a row next season.

Manager of Celtic Neil Lennon walks to the dugout before the Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match between Aberdeen and Celtic at Pittodrie Stadium on May 04, 2019 in Aberdeen, Scotland.

On his day, Rogic is one of the best talents in Scotland’s top-tier, and whilst such a hefty offer would be too good to turn down, the club need him in the middle of the park next season.

Callum McGregor, at times, had to play a deeper role last term, whilst Scott Brown isn’t getting any younger. The purchase of youngster Luca Connell is a smart buy, but the Bhoys need their midfield to tick.

If they can do that then the Scottish Premiership will be heading to Parkhead again, and someone like Rogic, who was signed by Lennon in his first spell, can be a key player behind that happening.
