Tam McManus has said on Twitter that Celtic should be thankful that Steven Gerrard’s Rangers will not win the title at Celtic Park.
Celtic played out a goalless draw with Dundee United away from home in the Scottish Premiership today.
The result was enough for Rangers to win the league title, with the Hoops officially failing to make it 10 in a row.
Former Hibernian forward McManus, who now works as a pundit for PLZ Soccer, believes that Celtic should be thankful that Rangers did not win the title at Celtic Park.
If the Hoops had won today, then a point in the Old Firm derby later this month would have been enough for Rangers to clinch the championship.

Guard of honour
It will be interesting to see if Celtic give Rangers a guard of honour in the Old Firm derby at Celtic Park this month.
As reported by The Scottish Sun in February 2021, Rangers chose not to give Celtic a guard of honour when the teams met at Ibrox in May 2019.
Whatever happens, Rangers will be determined to win against Celtic at Celtic Park and celebrate their title success in style.
