Brendan Rodgers rates the Bhoys striker highly.

Brendan Rodgers has suggested via the Telegraph it would cost much more than £15 million to lure Moussa Dembele from Celtic.
Dembele has scored 12 goals in his first 16 games for the Bhoys, making a mockery of the six-figure sum paid to the striker’s previous club Fulham in compensation this summer.
Dembele’s two goals against Manchester City in the Champions League this week have only increased the 20-year-old’s blossoming reputation.

The Sun reported on Thursday that Arsenal deployed scouts to watch Dembele against Pep Guardiola’s team, but according to Rodgers they would have to smash Celtic’s previous record sale (£12.5 million for Victor Wanyama) to prise him away from Parkhead.
Responding to one reporter’s suggestion that the Frenchman was worth £15 million, Rodgers replied via the Telegraph: “How much? Are you saying £15 million? That’s his left toe!

“His value is what someone will pay for him. If he can show up like that (against City) in the big games, that’s your value.”
Dembele’s fine start to life in Glasgow has seen him shortlisted for this year’s Golden Boy award, which crowns Europe’s best player under the age of 21.
Run by Italian newspaper Tuttosport, the award’s most recent winners include Paul Pogba (2013), Raheem Sterling (2014) and Anthony Martial (2015).
