There are alot of players starting to make a name for themselves at Celtic Park, and Australian midfielder Tom Rogic could soon be one of them. The 23-year-old has been at the club since 2013 and is currently enjoying a good run of form, with many believing it could just be the beginning. As reported by the Evening Times, manager Brendan Rodgers believes that there is much more to come from Rogic.
The Australian is currently with his national team preparing for games against Saudi Arabia and Japan as his career continues to grow.
“I think that he can be better,” said Rodgers. “He is a boy that has got big potential. He knows the areas of the game that I think he can be better in. I talk a lot to him and we work a lot on the training ground in terms of his game.”

“That experience will really have helped him in his thinking,” said Rodgers. “He is a very talented player, Tom, and I also have to bear in my mind that he spent a few years out of the game.”
Rodgers is referring to the fact that the midfielder has spent lengthy periods of time on the sidelines with numerous injuries. Despite his current form, the manager will always be wary of Rogic’s fitness levels as the club prepare to compete in a number of different competitions over the next few months.
Despite the pressure that these players will be under, Rogic included, the confidence running through the squad is sure to be a big boost as they currently find themselves on a five-game unbeaten run. Celtic’s next game will see them host Motherwell following the international break.
