Neil Lennon’s Celtic are back in action on Saturday.
The Hoops will take on County at Celtic Park in the Scottish Premiership on Saturday afternoon.
Christie is suspended for the match, having been sent off against Livingston before the two-week international break.
Celtic manager Lennon has suggested that 26-year-old Australia international midfielder will replace 24-year-old Scotland international midfielder Christie against County.
Lennon told Celtic’s official website: “Ryan’s been outstanding for us, but Tom Rogic is up to speed, and hopefully we’ve got Ntcham even though he’s a bit of a doubt. But Ryan would be a miss for any team right now the way he’s playing. We’ll have to adjust accordingly.
“Tom’s a creative type, they’re very similar, and we all know about his pedigree. He’s had his injury lay-off and he’s come back and is in great condition. He would jump at the chance to play if selected, so it’s great having that luxury when you lose a quality player and can bring another one in.”
Bouncing back
Celtic suffered a 2-0 loss to Livingston away from home before the international break.
The Glasgow giants will be determined to bounce back and pick up all three points against County.
With Rangers at the top of the Scottish Premiership table at the moment, the Hoops cannot slip up and have to go on a winning run now.
Rangers will return to action on Sunday afternoon when they take on Heart of Midlothian away from home in the Scottish Premiership.
