Celtic manager Neil Lennon has admitted on the club’s official Twitter page that Rangers were hungrier than his players at Ibrox on Sunday.
Rangers got the better of Celtic 2-0 at Ibrox in the Old Firm derby on Sunday afternoon.
James Tavernier put Steven Gerrard’s side in the lead after just two minutes, and Scott Arfield doubled the advantage for the Gers in the 63rd minute.
Celtic boss Lennon has admitted that Rangers were hungrier that them, and he has conceded the Gers were the better team.
BBC Sport quotes Lennon as saying: “The better team won. We lacked energy and we looked tired today.”

Over the course of the 90 minutes at Ibrox on Sunday afternoon, hosts Rangers had 43% of the possession, took 11 shots of which five were on target, and earned six corners, according to BBC Sport.
Visitors Celtic had 57% of the possession, took three shots of which one was on target, and earned three corners, according to BBC Sport.
Rangers have already secured the second spot in the Scottish Premiership table this season, while Celtic have clinched the league title for the eighth season in a row.
