Has Celtic right-back Cristian Gamboa finally done enough to displace Mikael Lustig?

Celtic right-back Cristian Gamboa played a blinder for Costa Rica against Scotland on Friday night.
The 28-year-old has been playing second fiddle to Mikael Lustig for almost two years at Parkhead.
But surely now manager Brendan Rodgers has to give him more minutes for Celtic between now and the end of the season.
Lustig, as good as he has been for the Hoops, has endured a disastrous run of form in recent months and it’s time for Rodgers to wield the axe.

With Anthony Ralson sent on emergency loan last week, that leaves Gamboa as the obvious candidate to replace the Swede at right-back.
The Costa Rican ace gave Liverpool’s Andrew Robertson a pretty tough time last night and surely that’s a huge endorsement for Gamboa, given how brilliant the Scot has been this season.
The former West Brom man has only been given two Premiership games this season, but that number could and should rise very soon.
