Celtic defender Kieran Tierney has impressed with his performances this season.

Tierney has fully established himself as one of the finest left-backs in Britain now, with his form impressing.
There is now talk that Tierney could become captain of both Celtic and Scotland.
And Rodgers feels it is inevitable that the youngster will become a leader for both club and country.
“I had a chat with him the other day, this is the next stage in his development,” he said. “He’s played over 100-games now for Celtic and now you start to grow as a young man and take on that responsibility.

“He’s one that has those qualities because he’s very inspirational. Because of the type personality he is it wouldn’t be a concern but, of course, there is a big responsibility in captain Celtic and captaining your national team.
“If it wasn’t this time then I’m sure at some point it will happen in the future.”
Tierney has coped with every challenge thrown at him so far, with the youngster catching the eye both in European football and domestically.

The 20-year-old appears to be a player who Celtic can build their defence around for the years ahead, if they can keep hold of him.
Tierney once again impressed for Celtic in their last match, as he scored in their 2-0 victory over Aberdeen.
Tierney will next be in action for the Bhoys, when they take on Dundee tomorrow.
