Charly Musonda joined Brendan Rodgers’s Celtic on loan from Chelsea in the January transfer window.

Musonda, who can operate as an attacking midfielder or as a winger, joined Celtic on an 18-month loan deal from Chelsea in the January transfer window.
The 21-year-old, who earns £520,000 per year as salary according to Spotrac.com, has made only four appearances for the Hoops since his loan switch in January, according to Transfermarkt.co.uk.

Celtic manager Rodgers has admitted that Chelsea could recall Musonda from his loan spell early.
Rodgers told The Glasgow Evening Times about Musonda: “They may well do [call him back]. There is an agreement in place which is fairly relaxed.”

Replacement to be found?
One would not be surprised if Musonda is frustrated at his lack of playing time at Celtic this season, and it would not shock anyone if Celtic do decide to call him back from loan spell at the Hoops.
It would make sense for the Hoops to start looking for a replacement for the Belgium Under-21 international attacker from now on.
Given the minimal impact that the youngster has made at Celtic so far, one suspects that the Hoops would not miss him should he leave Celtic Park at the end of the season.
