Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers were beaten 5-1 by Celtic the last time the two sides met at Parkhead.
Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has admitted to the Telegraph that he doesn’t know if Glasgow Rangers have made any improvement this season.
The last time Rangers played Celtic at Parkhead, they were beaten 5-1 in humiliating fashion.
Rangers looked a class below their Glasgow rivals, and they were put to the sword by the Hoops.
With Celtic set to host Rangers again this weekend, the Light Blues will be hoping to put in a better account of themselves.
But Rodgers insists that he is unsure whether Rangers have actually improved as a team since then.
“I don’t know. I couldn’t really tell you,” he said, when asked if he believes Rangers have progressed.
“I only know of the three games we have played, three really good games, and we have done really well. Where they are now, I don’t know.”
Celtic have fully established their dominance over their city rivals this season.
The Bhoys have beaten Rangers in all three Old-Firm derbies to take place so far this campaign, and head into Sunday’s match as the heavy favourites to get the three points.
If Celtic do beat Rangers at the weekend, as expected, they will move 36 points clear of the Light Blues.
