Celtic boss delighted with new signing.

Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers has been speaking about how impressed he has been with Oliver Burke over the course of his career.
Burke signed a deal with Celtic this week to join on loan until the end of the season.
Rodgers says he has been tracking Burke since the player’s days at Nottingham Forest, who he left in 2016.
Forest sold him for £13 million to Red Bull Leipzig, a price beyond Celtic’s price range.
Burke later joined West Brom for £15 million, but after a frustrating spell at the Hawthorns so far, he was made available for loan and Celtic moved to snap him up.
Brendan Rodgers said he was mightily impressed with Burke when he saw him at Forest and hopes to get him back to his best.

He told The Mail: “Oliver is obviously a very exciting talent. He burst onto the scene at Nottingham Forest and I remember watching a game and thinking what a talent he was, but then it all went very quickly for him.
“From Forest, to Leipzig to a new country, new style, new way of working and he wasn’t there that long before he came back, so it’s a very important time for him at 21.
”His pace and power is phenomenal and he has a nice touch on the ball, running in behind and into goal. So we hope we can utilise that and improve his quality and his game.”
This is an opportunity which Burke simply must take advantage of.
He is at his fourth club in three years and has a manager who really believes in him.
If he can repay Rodgers’ faith then it will get him back on track, and there could even be a medal or two in it for him at the end of the season.
