Nadir Ciftci opened his account for Motherwell on Saturday after joining the Well on loan from Celtic.

Celtic winger Nadir Citfci has not given hope of a Hoops return after talking to BBC Sport following his first goal for Motherwell since joining Stephen Robinson’s side on loan in January.
The 25-year-old was with English side Plymouth Argyle during the first half of the season but failed to impress down south, and Brendan Rodgers decided to recall the attacker to give him a chance elsewhere in Scotland.
Now, it seems as though the Turkish forward may have rediscovered his shooting boots at Fir Park, as he saved the Well from defeat against Partick Thistle. He expertly rolled Niall Keown before lashing home a half volley from 12 yards out.

Ciftci, who still remains a Celtic player, spoke after the match by stating that he will “see what happens” over his Celtic future, as he looks to impress Rodgers or indeed any interested parties while on loan at Motherwell.
“Let me give everything I have in my pocket, score some goals and try to help the club achieve what they want to achieve then we can see what happens at the end of the season,” Ciftci said.

Since joining Celtic in the summer of 2015, Ciftci has managed just 26 league and cup appearances for the Hoops as he continues to be repeatedly sent out on loan.
He has 18 months remaining on his current Parkhead deal and it remains to be seen if the versatile forward will be given a chance under Rodgers next season. If he is to be given a second go, he must continue to sparkle for Motherwell.
