Scottish Premiership rivals Celtic and Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers should seriously consider signing Ross McCormack this summer.

Celtic and Rangers will both bolster their attacking options in the summer transfer window.
The Hoops might have to replace linked-away Moussa Dembele, while Rangers, who could lose Alfredo Morelos, will also be in the market for a striker no doubt.
One man who could and should interest both Scottish Premiership giants is Ross McCormack.
The Scotland international, who joined Aston Villa for £12 million in 2016 [The Mirror], doesn’t look to have much future at Villa Park under Steve Bruce, and promotion to the Premier League might make a departure even more likely.

The 31-year-old previously spent four years at Rangers until 2006 and although a move to Celtic seems unlikely based on his previous stint at Ibrox, he is a Bhoys fan.
In 2012, he told The Record: “I wanted to do well at Ibrox and did my best for Rangers. But I always supported Celtic as a kid and went to watch as many matches as I could.”
With that in mind, Brendan Rodgers shouldn’t be deterred by his history on the blue half of the Old Firm divide. By the same token, the Gers shouldn’t be hesitant to take him back on the basis that he supports their bitter rivals.
On a footballing level, he could be a fantastic signing for both clubs, having been one of the Championship’s finest goalscorers at one point, and although he’s getting on in years, he still has enough to offer one of Scotland’s elite.
