Celtic and Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers players feature heavily in Chris Sutton’s Team of the Week.

Celtic and Rangers both enjoyed winning starts to the Premiership season at the weekend.

The Hoops got the defence of their title off to a fine start as Brendan Rodgers’s side picked up where they left off by thumping Hearts 4-1 at Parkhead.

One day later, Rangers edged out Motherwell with a hard-fought 2-1 victory at Fir Park, with new signing Graham Dorrans scoring twice to enjoy a fine debut for his boyhood club.

Consequence of both victories, Celtic legend Chris Sutton has selected three Old Firm players apiece for his BT Sport Team of the Week, with Jozo Simunovic, Callum McGregor and Leigh Griffiths – who scored twice against the Jambos – earning their spot.

Sutton also included Rangers’ Wes Foderingham, left-back Lee Wallace and, of course, Dorrans in the XI, but Celtic fans on Twitter were baffled over their former striker’s decision to choose Wallace instead of Bhoys youngster Kieran Tierney.
