Ibrox side Glasgow Rangers and Celtic have been linked with the red-hot hitman in recent weeks.

If Rangers and Celtic go in for Lawrence Shankland in January, they’ll be officially bidding for an established international player.
Well, he might not be that established just yet, but the 24-year-old, a reported target of Celtic and Steven Gerrard’s side, opened his account for Scotland on Sunday.
Shankland, released by Rangers as a teenager, came off the bench to score on his international debut in Sunday’s 6-0 demolition of San Marino in Euro 2020 qualifying.
In doing so, the Glasgow native made it 16 goals in total for Dundee United and his country across all competitions this season.
According to The Record, Old Firm giants Celtic and Rangers have both scouted him in recent weeks.
And it’s safe to say that quite a lot of Scot fans on Twitter are lauding him following his debut goal.
It’s worth noting that Shankland is nowhere near proven in the Scottish Premiership, despite being a beast in the Championship.
Plus, Celtic have Odsonne Edouard, Leigh Griffiths and Vakoun Issouf Bayo, while Gerrard has red-hot duo Jermain Defoe and Alfredo Morelos at Ibrox.
If – and it’s a big IF – he ends up at Parkhead or Rangers, there’s a massive test if he is to play regularly.
