The Gers are on the lookout for a new permanent manager following the recent departure of Pedro Caixinha.
Caixinha was sacked from his managerial role at Ibrox due to disappointing results and performances in the Scottish Premiership this season.

It has been reported that Rangers’ director of football, Mark Allen, believes that the former Newcastle and Nottingham Forest boss is the right man for the Ibrox job.

According to Sky Sports, McClaren, who was in charge of Newcastle from June 2015 until March 2016, would be open to speaking to Rangers about taking charge of the Ibrox outfit.
