Celtic and Manchester United were among the clubs who reportedly wanted Noni Madueke before he left Tottenham Hotspur for PSV in the summer transfer window.

According to The Mirror (Transfer Live blog, 17:28pm, Thursday, June 28, 2018), Celtic and Manchester United wanted to sign Noni Madueke before he left Tottenham Hotspur for PSV.

It has been reported that Premier League giants Manchester United and Scottish Premiership powerhouse Celtic both wanted to secure the services of Madueke before he made the move to Dutch side PSV in the summer transfer window.

As announced on PSV’s official YouTube channel, the 16-year-old attacking midfielder has joined the Dutch giants on a contract until 2021.

According to The Mirror (Transfer Live blog, 17:28pm, Thursday, June 28, 2018), Jose Mourinho’s Manchester United invited the England Under-16 international to be part of their squad for a recent youth tournament.

Chelsea, Fulham, Celtic, Juventus, RB Leipzig and Monaco all wanted to sign Madueke as well, according to the report.

Good move for Noni Madueke?

Madueke is a very talented and promising young talent, and the 16-year-old has a bright future ahead of him.

PSV are a massive club in the Netherlands who give chances to young players, and the English youngster will hope to develop and progress in the coming years and break into the first team soon.
