The 20-year-old winger started the Scottish Premiership match and played for 69 minutes, as Brendan Rodgers’s side won 2-0.
The England Under-20 international was one of the best players for the Bhoys, who found it relatively easy to pick up all three points against Pedro Caixinha’s team.
Roberts returned to Celtic on a season-long loan deal from Premier League giants Manchester City in the summer transfer window.
The former Fulham youngster was hugely successful during his previous 18-month loan spell at Celtic Park.
