Celtic want Aissa Laidouni and could launch a move for the Ferencvaros midfielder after shining at the World Cup with Tunisia.
The Bhoys have already pounced to make two signings ahead of the January transfer window.
Yuki Kobayashi has agreed to join on a free transfer from Vissel Kobe and Celtic are now seemingly focusing on World Cup talent.
Canada’s Alistair Johnston has already joined from CF Montreal whilst South Korean hitman Cho Gue-sung is a top target too.
Ange Postecoglou’s attempts to sign World Cup stars aren’t over yet though with one more name on the radar.

Celtic want Aissa Laidouni
Foot Mercato report that Celtic are now chasing the signature of Aissa Laidouni.
It’s stated that Wolfsburg and even some English clubs are now interested in Laidouni with Ferencvaros willing to sell for around €4million (£3.5million).
That seems like a reasonable price for Laidouni, especially based on his World Cup displays.
The 25-year-old was absolutely box office for Tunisia and he came away from Qatar with a few new supporters.
In Tunisia’s opening group game against Denmark, Laidouni clattered Christian Eriksen early and celebrated like it was a goal.
Against France, Laidouni pulled off a lovely nutmeg on Eduardo Camavinga, embarrassing the Real Madrid midfielder.
Whether you wanted interceptions in the engine room or silky ability on the ball going forward, Laidouni showed it all.
Laidouni’s all-round excellence drew praise from all who saw him and pundit Danny Higginbotham hailed him as ‘brilliant’.
Laidouni has even played against Celtic in the past, featuring twice for Ferencvaros against the Bhoys in last season’s Europa League.
Maybe Celtic saw something in those games that caught their eye, and the World Cup has just cemented that Laidouni is the kind of midfielder Ange Postecoglou wants in his side.
