The Celtic ace has been the subject of interest from Porto, according to reports.
Celtic ace Olivier Ntcham spoke to reporters about how much he is enjoying life in Glasgow’s east-end, although he did admit that he was flattered to hear that Porto were interested in signing him, as quoted by the Daily Record.
The 22-year-old joined the Hoops from Manchester City in the summer of 2017, for a fee believed to be worth in the region of £4.5 million, and he has firmly established himself as one of Brendan Rodgers’ most important players.
According to a report from Goal France, Celtic turned down a £13.5 million bid from Porto for the France under-21 international, so Rodgers obviously views the midfielder as a key man.
Ntcham spoke to reporters about his time at Parkhead, and highlighted one thing that he does not enjoy about living in Scotland, as quoted by the Daily Record:
“I’m happy when I hear that. It means that I had been doing great work. I felt as though I had a great last season and it was like winning a trophy for me to hear this, so I was pleased with that. But I am happy with life in Scotland. I enjoy everything, well maybe apart from the food.”
Celtic’s chances of achieving success this season will be heavily dependant on whether they can keep hold of Ntcham in January, and if they manage to do just that, there is no reason why they can’t win multiple trophies once again.
