Unpopular West Ham United vice-chairman Karren Brady has been ridiculed by celebrity Arsenal fan Piers Morgan.

David Moyes manager of West Ham United during the Emirates FA Cup Third Round match between Shrewsbury Town and West Ham United at New Meadow on January 7, 2018 in Shrewsbury, England.

West Ham find themselves in a relegation battle this season while Arsenal are also underachieving once again.

The Hammers looked to be on an upward curve ahead of their big move to the London Stadium, finishing just four points off the Champions League places.

But some terrible transfer dealings after making the move to the 57,000 seater stadium in Stratford two seasons ago have seen the East Londoners flirt with relegation since.

Eyebrows have been raised at some of the club’s dealings with over £40 million spent on flops Andre Ayew and Robert Snodgrass and the ageing Jose Fonte alone.

Karren Brady, Vice-Chairman of West Ham United attend the Leaders Sport Business Summit at Stamford Bridge on October 5, 2016 in London, England.

Supporters are not happy with co-owners David Sullivan and David Gold or outspoken and unpopular vice-chairman Karren Brady over what they feel are broken promises with regards the stadium move and transfers.

And now opinionated TV presenter and journalist Piers Morgan, a passionate Gunners fan, has ridiculed the club and Brady on Twitter.

After posting the answer to a mathematical brain teaser on her Twitter feed, Brady was trolled by Morgan, who said: “It’s 30 not 14… no wonder you keep overpaying for players!”

Journalist Piers Morgan chats during the Hero Pro-Am at The Grove on October 12, 2016 in Watford, England.

Morgan was left red-faced when it was pointed out to him that he had in fact got the brain teaser wrong setting himself up for a taste of his own medicine.

A major critic of Arsene Wenger, Morgan is known for not pulling any punches when it comes to airing his opinion.

And while he may have had to backtrack over the sums, he makes a salient point which Brady would do well to take on board this month as the Hammers search for ‘three or four’ reinforcements as David Moyes strives to save the club from relegation.
