Cédric Soares has taken to Instagram to send a four-word message to Joe Willock, following Arsenal’s 4-2 Europa League win over Dundalk.

After the Gunners academy graduate posted a photo of himself scoring, the Portugal international wrote: ‘That’s it my bro @joewillock 💪’.

The pair of them enjoyed excellent performances against the Irish outfit.

In Cédric’s case, he was very involved. SofaScore shows that the former Southampton man had 75 touches against Dundalk, while also recording two shots and two crosses.

He also completed two tackles and registered a passing accuracy of 89%.

Willock was just as good.

The 21-year-old scored his third Europa League goal of the season with a nice finish, following a clever first touch after Folarin Balogun laid the ball off.

In addition to his strike, Willock – who earns £20,000-a-week – recorded one key pass and one interception, while finishing the game with a 97% pass success rate.

It was good to see the Arsenal No.28 continue his fine form in Europe.

Willock now has three goals and three assists in just five Europa League appearances this season, which is very impressive.

Mikel Arteta has only handed the box-to-box midfielder two Premier League starts this term, however, so hopefully we can see more of him domestically.
