Some Rangers fans have taken to Twitter to give their reaction to Cedric Itten’s goal against Arsenal at Ibrox today.

What’s the story?

Rangers took on Premier League club Arsenal at ibrox in a pre-season friendly today.

The game ended in a 2-2 draw.

Itten scored the second goal for the Scottish Premiership champions with a header following a corner from Glenn Middleton.

The 24-year-old striker did not start the match, but the Switzerland international came on as a substitute for Kemar Roofe on 61 minutes.

What are Rangers fans saying?

As you can see from the tweets below, Rangers fans want manager Steven Gerrard to use Itten more regularly.

Well, some of them anyway.

Itten joined Rangers from St Gallen last summer.

The striker made four starts and 19 substitute appearances in the Sottish Premiership last season.

The Rangers striker scored four goals and gave one assist in those matches.

Itten also scored two goals in 93 minutes in the Europa League for the Gers last season.

If Itten continues to perform well like he did against Arsenal, then he could become a regular in the Rangers starting lineup when the season starts.
