Liverpool fans have every reason to be excited about the next Premier League campaign.
In 2013/14, Liverpool came agonisingly close to winning the Premier League for the first time, thanks to the attacking trio of Steven Gerrard, Daniel Sturridge and Luis Suarez.
The Merseyside club has since been waiting for a similarly talented combination of players to come along and take them one step further.
And they may just have found that in Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane, a front three that has absolutely devastated defences this season.
Liverpool are the only team to comprehensively dismantle the champions elect Manchester City, beating them 4-3 earlier this season and 3-0 in the first leg of the Champions League semi-final.
It is far too late for Liverpool to challenge for the title now, with Manchester City just one win away from becoming champions, but the Reds have every reason to be positive going into next season.
In addition to their magnificent front three, players like Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Andrew Robertson are showing real signs of promise.
And with Dutch centre-back Virgil Van Dijk also in their ranks, the team is starting to look the strongest it has been in years.
If Liverpool can add a few more high-quality players to the squad in the summer, ideally a goalkeeper, a centre-back and a centre-midfielder, they may have everything they need to finally lift the Premier League trophy.
