Liverpool have unveiled their new 2018/19 home kit, which has received mixed reactions from supporters.

Liverpool have become the first Premier League club to unveil their new home strip for the 2018/19 season.
The kit retains the favoured red pepper colour and the retro colouring that made their current New Balance strip the best selling one in the club’s history.
But the new shirt also features a two-button collar and ‘linear jacquard stripes’, which are ‘inspired by the architecture of the redeveloped Main Stand’.
While some Liverpool fans have reacted positively to the kit, the majority seem to have a lot of issues with it.
Despite last season’s kit proving to be massively popular with the fans, one of the biggest problems some of them have with the new one is that it is still designed by New Balance.
Many of them expressed their desire for the Liverpool’s kits to once again be made by Adidas, viewing the sportswear brand as a more appropriate fit for a club of their size.
Next season could prove to be a monumental one for Liverpool as they look to win the Premier League title for the first time, and it seems some of their fans are slightly disappointed that this is the strip in which they could see their players lift the trophy.
Upon the kit’s unveiling, Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson told the club’s official website: “Our kit isn’t just something we wear to play, it’s part of who we are as team, we feel immensely proud when pulling on the LFC Home shirt, it means more to us than you could even imagine; after all, Liverpool Football Club is like no other.
“I have no doubt that our fans will love the new kit, and will wear it with pride when supporting us this coming season.”
