The Chelsea defender, who famously made his Blues’ debut against Liverpool, was on loan at Fulham last season.

Hull City boss Leonid Slutsky wants to make Chelsea defender Tomas Kalas his first signing as Tigers boss, which will strike a blow to Fulham, who had the Czech Republic international on loan last season, as reported by the London Evening Standard.
The 24-year-old made 38 appearances for Fulham in the Championship last season and was a rock at the back for Slavisa Jokanovic’s side, with the Whites prepared to sign the defender on a permanent basis if they were to be promoted.

However, Fulham – who finished the season in sixth – lost to Reading in the play-off semi-finals, meaning that they will be spending the 2017/18 season in the Championship, and it seems that Slutsky is to put his friendship with Chelsea owner Roman Abramovich to good use.
Abramovich championed Slutsky for the Hull job and the London Evening Standard are also reporting that Slutsky wishes to take a number of Chelsea’s promising youngsters to Hull next season as the club look to get back into the Premier League at the first attempt, following their relegation at the end of the 2016/17 season.

Kalas would be a permanent signing however, with Chelsea willing to sell the 24-year-old as he has just one year left on his contract, though it remains to be seen if Fulham wish to challenge Hull for the player’s signature.
Hull do have a fair few problems closer to home though, as the same London Evening Standard report claims that key men Sam Clucas, Harry Maguire and Andy Roberton all want out, and with the squad already thin as it is, Slutsky’s relationship with Abramovich could become crucial to the club’s performance
