The 36-year-old, who has represented Chelsea, West Ham United and Newcastle United in his career, is still wanted by Fulham.
Fulham’s Scott Parker celebrates at the end of the match
Fulham have decided to offer experienced midfielder Scott Parker a new deal in a bid to keep the former England captain at Craven Cottage for a little longer yet, as reported by Get West London.
Despite his age, Parker still made 31 appearances for Fulham in all competitions last year, and was used cleverly by manager Slavisa Jokanovic, with the former Chelsea and Newcastle United man making 17 appearances from the bench.

Parker is out of contract at Fulham at present, but while the club have let several players leave Craven Cottage, they do not want Parker to follow them out of the exit door as Jokanovic clearly believes he has a role to play still.
The most high profile player to be released by Fulham was former Manchester United man Ryan Tunnicliffe, as nine players in total were told by the club that they will not be having their contracts renewed.

However, Jesse Joronen and Cameron Burgess – both out of contract – are in talks with Jokanovic about possible new deals, while Elijah Adebayo and Taye Ashby-Hammond have both penned new contracts with the Whites.
Fulham had an excellent season in the Championship and finished in sixth, eventually losing in the play-offs 2-1 on aggregate to third placed Reading, and Jokanovic will be hoping to go one better – at least – next season.
