Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has said that Edinson Cavani is available for the match against Dean Smith’s Aston Villa, as quoted on BBC Sport.
Solskjaer has suggested that he could play Cristiano Ronaldo and Cavani upfront against Villa at Old Trafford tomorrow.
United will take on Villa at home in the Premier League on Saturday afternoon.
BBC Sport quotes Solskjaer as saying: “Edinson has joined in training fully after that game [on Wednesday] and he’s held his hand up and is ready.
“Last season as well, he didn’t have a pre-season when he came here.
“He’s so professional and meticulous and, of course, we’re glad to now have him back training with us and in the squad.”
The United boss added about Ronaldo and Cavani playing together: “It is exciting to see them two together.
“That will be a good partnership. Those two are boys you like to have around the goal when clubs are not giving you space.”

Worrying for Aston Villa
United are doing well in the Premier League at the moment and will head into the match against Villa as favourites.
Ronaldo is banging in the goals for fun and will be a big threat for Villa.
Just as he is for any team in the world.
The United no.7 has scored three goals in two Premier League games and has scored one goal in one Champions League appearance so far this season.

Now add Cavani to the mix, and the Villa defenders will have a tough time at Old Trafford tomorrow.
One positive for the Villans is that Cavani, one of the best strikers in the world, is unlikely to start.
After all, the Uruguay international striker has not played competitive football for a while and is unlikely to be thrown in right from the start.
However, there is a chance that Cavani and Ronaldo could play together in the second half, and that will be frightening for Villa, or for any defence in the Premier League.
