Stephen Kelly has claimed that Everton winger Demarai Gray was ‘causing problems’ for Tottenham during their goalless draw on Sunday, as he told Sky Sports.
The Sky pundit claimed that Everton’s light-footed forward was ‘exploiting’ the space left by Tottenham defender Cristian Romero.
It was a lively game at Goodison Park, with the home team stopping their losing run and Antonio Conte picking up a point in his first Premier League game in charge of the North London club.
There was probably more mayhem towards the end of the game, than there was throughout the entirety of the match, as both teams seemingly settled for that point.
From VAR calls, penalties being overturned and sending-offs, it was a difficult afternoon for the officials, both in the middle and at Stockley Park.

“Everton and Demarai Gray, he has been a real livewire on the left-hand side,” said Kelly.
“I thought that would have been something he’s (Conte) going to want to stop. When he is getting on the ball, he is causing problems. He’s exploiting space left by Romero.
“He just looks like a very good player, at the moment and someone playing full of confidence.”
In truth, it was a good point for both teams, Everton conceded five the last time they played at home and Conte has a win and a draw in his first two games in all competitions.
At the start of the season, both teams would have targeted European football and the duo have experienced managers at the helm in order to take them to a possible top-six finish.
But with Conte’s recent success and appointment, it’s quite clear that there is more of a lift with him being in Tottenham’s dugout, than there is with Benitez standing on the Goodison Park touchline.
