Speaking on the Beautiful Game Podcast, Rangers’ Leon Balogun has been singing the praises of Ryan Kent, claiming that he’s brilliant in training.
The defender has the unenviable task of defending against the winger in training for the Gers, and as you can imagine, Kent often runs him ragged.
What’s been said?
Balogun was speaking about some of his Rangers teammates, and he says that Kent causes him problems in training.
“Who causes me real problems in training every now and then is Ryan Kent. He’s a wing wizard, my god, he’s a problem. There was this one goal, I think against Hamilton where he just turns the defender inside out, dropping the shoulder, dropping it again, and the guy doesn’t know where he is, so we have a few of them,” Balogun said.

No surprise
It’s not shocking to hear that Kent is brilliant in training.
The winger is one of the fastest and trickiest players in Scotland, and while Rangers have the best defence in the SPFL, Kent still manages to cause problems in training.
The former Liverpool man has all of the attributes you’d want from a winger at this level, and his performances over the past couple of seasons are a testament to his quality.
Luckily, Balogun doesn’t have to play against him in any competitive games as they’re teammates.
