Sam Nicholson scores against Rangers
Rangers could finally get their man this summer, with Sam Nicholson’s Hearts exit expected by manager Ian Cathro.
Rangers were tipped to move for Nicholson in January, under previous boss Mark Warburton (Daily Record), with the 22-year-old’s contract up at the end of the campaign.
The Edinburgh side would still be due £400,000 for Nicholson – a product of his hometown team’s academy system – although it remains to be seen whether or not Pedro Caixinha will pursue his predecessor’s interest.
If Hearts fans’ views are anything to go by, however, Rangers are best advised to steer clear of the winger, despite his four goals and three assists in 16 Premiership outings this season.
